STEVE JOBS EARLY LIFE
Steve jobs childhood
Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco California. His biological parents were University of Wisconsin graduate students who gave their unnamed child up for adoption a week after he was born. His father, Abdulfattah Jandali, was a successful Syrian political science professor, and his mother, Joanne Schieble, worked as a speech therapist. Later on, he was adopted by a married couple a week after he was born.
In February 1955, a week after he was born, he was adopted by Paul and Clara jobs. They were told that in order to adopt him, they had to be very well educated. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. They were a lower-middle class couple that settled in the Bay Area after the war had finished so, they didn't get the education that Joanne wanted them to. Finally, Joanne, Steve's biological mother, gave him to Paul and Clara under one condition. The condition was that when Steve grows up, he has to go to college. Since he was still unnamed, they decided to call him Steven Paul jobs. The happy family then moved to Silicon Valley and in 1958 they adopted another baby named patti. In their free time, Steve Jobs and his father would work on electronics. His father would teach him how to take apart and reconstruct electronics which became a very useful hobby for Steve.
EDUCATION
During Steve Jobs school years, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. He had a very rough time during his education process. He really didn't put the effort and time for school, but that all changed in fourth grade when he had Imogene "Teddy" Hill as a teacher. Since Steve wouldn't put the effort into school, She had to bribe him. She would bribe him with candy bars and $5 bills. With everything she was giving him, he instantly began working hard and was even able to skip 5th grade and move on to Middle School. His Middle School was called Crittenden Middle School, but it wasn't a very good area to go to school. Instead of the students working in school, they would bully other kids including Steve Jobs. He told his parents that if they didn't move him to a different school, he was going to drop out of school completely. So they then moved to Los Altos.
High school and later life
Steve Jobs then went to Homestead High School were he took a electronic class and was introduced to Steve Wozniak by a friend of his. Steve was four years younger than Steve Wozniak. At that time, Wozniak was attending the University of California, Berkley. He was also building a computer with a guy named Bill Fernandez. He then graduated from his High School and decided to go to college. The college he went to was called Reed College in Portland, Oregon. It was very hard for Steve's parents to afford the tuition, but in the end it didn't really matter because he dropped out. Steve then got a job as a video game designer with Atari, but that didn't last and he quit to travel india and experiment with psychedelic drugs. After a while , Steve and Wozniak decided to put their electronic skills into use and create new technology.
APPLE
Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak decided to create their very first computer called the Apple Computer in 1976. The computer was a huge success and it was even said that they have changed the computer industry for the better. The computers were very accessible for everyday use. They were small and cheaper and overall a very good computer. The computers were sold around $700 each and the Apple 1 corporation earned around $774,00. Years later they made a second model , Apple 2, and increased to $139 million. The market value was $1.2 billion. Everything was such a success and everyone loved the products. They sold lots of computers and made lots of money, but that all changed when they continued to make other products. Apple went downhill with their new products. They suffered from many flaws, costumers were disappointed, and other companies surpassed Apple. They weren't able to catch up and still didn't make lots of profit. In 1985 Jobs left apple and created his own hardware and software called NeXT, Inc. He then purchased Pixar and made some popular animation films like Finding Nemo , Toy story , and many more. The company was growing rapidly and Apple decided to buy the company in 1996. Steve Jobs later returned to Apple the following year. From there on everything was back to normal and they started fresh. They have created and improved modern technology for the better. They have become such a huge success and world-wide company that will hopefully never stop growing with new inventions. Steve Jobs creations is and are being used everywhere and have impacted peoples lives on how dependable the creations from computers to iPods have been. He never gave up on his dream and didn't stop when his plans weren't going to way he wanted to. He fought hard to change technology for the better and we should all give a lot of respect and be grateful for his hard work.
